Main Info
Food tasting is a magnificent way to learn about new cultures. It allows both kids and adults enjoy together French traditions and cuisines. We designed this family Paris food tour to make everyone happy. Experience our unique walking food tour of Paris with a local guide and eat like a Parisian! France has many regional specialties and it would take months if not years of travel to taste & learn about all of them. We have crafted a delicious journey of French food along a typical Parisian street next to one of the most beautiful parts of town, Montmartre: “Rue des Martyrs”. Here the famous church of Sacre Coeur overlooks Paris! In this neighborhood we have some of the most passionate food artisans who will introduce you & your children to foods that may be new to everyone. Get ready, you will love every bit of it!
The tour starts with an extremely important daily task in the life of a Parisian: buying bread! Entering a traditional bakery, your guide will help your children order a “baguette s’il vous plait”, fresh out of the oven! Yummy! Next stop if you want a real French meal: cheese! Discover a tiny, authentic cheese shop, that offers a variety of over 60 types of cheese, from north to south! Your next stop will allow you to cross the Mediterranean and reach the island of Corsica! You will discover various kinds of sausages made by a Corsican pork butcher. Just across the street a traditional little cake called the “madeleine” awaits you. In this patisserie, they have lifted this basic Lorraine specialty to new levels of creativity. The selection will make any foodie mad with excitement. Afterwards, we have a delicious rillettes tasting. This pork specialty from the Loire valley is a true delight. Then a short break and afterwards you will experience the best Provence has to offer. You will taste the famous olive oil, sugar and almond paste goodies and then wine chosen among Provence’s vineyards for the parents and fresh fruit juices for the kids! The highlight of this tasting session is in the warm of the renowned ‘Breton’ crêperie. Everyone LOVES the crepes filled with delicious caramel or even jam from Brittany. Yummy!

Vesna D
“While tasting food samples, we enjoyed specialties from the whole of France. I discovered “rillettes”, delicious! The seed bread was great, so crunchy and slightly warm. And we finished with a crepe in a place where you could believe you are in Brittany! We took the lunch tour and it was so generous that we did not end up dining at night.”
