    FAQs

What is included in the tour?

A private family tour with a fun, child-friendly guide, skip-the-line tickets, scavenger hunts (ages 3–6 and 7–12), and a small prize.

How long does the tour last?

Choose between 3 or 4 hours.

    Which sites are covered?

The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica (on the 4-hour version).

Is this a private family tour?

Yes, always private and tailored to families.

    Are Vatican tickets included?

Tickets are required but not included in the fee. We will book them for you.

Do children need their own tickets?

Yes, children ages 7–17 need tickets. Children under 7 are free but still require a reservation.

    Is the Basilica dome included?

No, the dome is not included, but your guide can show you how to enter on your own after the tour.

Is the secret passage from the Sistine Chapel to the Basilica included?

Yes. To avoid the long lines at the Basilica, your tour goes through the Vatican Museums into the Sistine Chapel, and from there you will use the special passage that leads directly into St. Peter’s Basilica. This is why our Vatican tours always include Museums + Sistine Chapel + Basilica together.

    Is this tour child-friendly?

Yes! Kids get scavenger hunts, games, and age-appropriate storytelling.

What age group is it best for?

Best for kids 3–17, but enjoyable for the whole family.

Will there be breaks for snacks or rest?

Yes, the guide adapts the pace and can allow short breaks.

    Where is the meeting point?

    At the Vatican Museums entrance.

    Is the tour stroller-friendly?

Yes, the Museums and Basilica are stroller and wheelchair accessible.

    What should we bring?

Comfortable shoes, modest clothing (shoulders and knees covered), water, and small bags.

What’s the difference between 3 and 4 hours?

3 hours: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel. 4 hours: Adds St. Peter’s Basilica.
